普賢警眾偈：
「是日已過，命亦隨減，如少水魚，斯有何樂？
當勤精進，如救頭燃，但念無常，慎勿放逸。」
Samantabhadra Bodhisattva's Verse of Admonition:
The day has passed, our lives thus shortened,
Like fish running short of water, for what do we rejoice?
Strive on diligently and vigilantly, as if putting out fire on the head.
Be mindful of impermanence, and be cautious of laxity.
